1. Who we are
Travel Activities provides information about upcoming PDF activity packs for children and operates the launch waitlist and sample newsletter. In this policy, “Travel Activities”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this service.
For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@travel-activities.net.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how the site is configured, we may collect:
- the email address you enter in a newsletter or waitlist form;
- your consent choice, the date and time of consent, and the page or form used;
- whether you requested the welcome email containing the sample PDF;
- messages you send to our contact address;
- basic technical logs supplied by our hosting provider, which may include IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and timestamps.
The current static preview stores submitted email addresses only in your browser’s local storage when no external newsletter endpoint is configured. Clearing site data removes this local copy.
3. How we collect data
We collect information directly from you when you submit a form or contact us. Technical information may be collected automatically by the services used to host and protect the website.
4. How and why we use data
We use your information to:
- send the welcome email and requested sample PDF;
- send launch news and newsletter updates where you have actively consented;
- record and respect consent, unsubscribe and objection requests;
- reply to questions and support requests;
- operate, troubleshoot and protect the website;
- comply with legal obligations.
For welcome emails and newsletter marketing, our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time using an unsubscribe link or by contacting us. For website security and basic service operation, we may rely on our legitimate interests where those interests do not override your rights.
5. Cookies and local storage
The current landing-page preview does not intentionally set advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. It may use browser local storage to remember a preview-form submission on your device. Hosting and third-party content delivery services may process technical request data needed to deliver their resources.
7. How long we keep data
We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, unless a limited record is needed to demonstrate that you opted out. Contact messages and technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for support, security and legal obligations. Final provider-specific periods will be published before launch.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to be informed, access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion or restriction, receive portable data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent.
To exercise a right, email contact@travel-activities.net. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Children’s privacy
The packs are designed for children, but the website forms are intended for parents, guardians and other adults. Children should not submit personal information. We do not knowingly ask for a child’s name, email address or other personal details through the current landing page.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we handle. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please contact us promptly if you believe your information has been exposed or misused.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the platform, providers or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
12. Contact
Questions, unsubscribe requests and privacy requests can be sent to contact@travel-activities.net.
