About

About us

I’m a mum of two and a software developer. Travel Activities grew out of the things I already do at home: playing with my children, helping them prepare for school contests, and finding small ways to support how they learn.

I created this website to generate the kinds of activities my children genuinely enjoy, while helping them practise skills that matter at school and beyond.

As a software developer, other parents often ask me what children should learn in a world shaped by AI. My answer is simple: logical thinking, maths, practical problem-solving and intentional use of technology.

Protecting children from too much online noise, including ads, pop-up messages, distracting sounds and intense content, can make a real difference.

This website began as a tool for my own children. Then I thought: why not share it with other parents too? I hope you find it useful.

Why we build

Our mission

Our mission is simple: make parents’ lives easier during travel and give children something fun, thoughtful and purposeful to do.

When you travel with children, you need moments to focus on tickets, driving, check-in or simply taking a breath. Those are perfect moments for an activity that feels playful, calm and free from ads, pop-ups or in-app purchases.

My own challenge as a mother was finding the right activity: something engaging enough for my child, but still good for the brain. I spent hours searching through activity sheets and books. What I wanted was simple: choose a few options and get one ready PDF.

That is what Travel Activities is made for: a PDF pack with activities adjusted to your child’s age and the way you travel.

These activities help children practise:

  • logical thinking;
  • maths and number sense;
  • spelling and reading confidence;
  • clock reading and everyday reasoning;
  • focus, patience and independent play.

Above all, I hope your child feels happily engaged and your journey feels a little calmer.
